Chef Of The Month: Rob DeReamer
Rob has been cooking professionally for over 18 years. His love of food began at a young age while helping his mother and grandmother bake holiday cookies and watching numerous cooking shows with his father. That love of food led him to pursue his career path at Johnson & Wales.
Rob has a passion for food and a love for making things from scratch. He loves working with food – from ordering and receiving to preparing and serving it. He is an avid pitmaster who has competed and won awards on the Kansas City Barbeque Society BBQ competition scene.
When not working, Rob can be found in his home garden with his kids or volunteering with his local ELKS or with Operation Hunger Smoked – which helps provide hot meals to the homeless during the Holidays.
