Every October, National School Lunch Week (NSLW) shines a spotlight on one of the most important parts of the school day: lunch. This nationally recognized week, created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, celebrates the impact of school nutrition programs in shaping the health, learning, and lifelong habits of our students.
